We got to see Aunt Meggie on her way out of school, on our way in, and we all got loves, and she got the girls to look up at her and smile so sweetly for the pictures.
Then of course we had to stop by the triplets’ classroom to get loves and hugs from them too.
Both my girls had a good day at school today…
And since Emerson told me yesterday she wanted a happy meal (and I wanted to go somewhere we could get a cheap dinner for all of us), we met up with Jeff and went to McDonald’s for dinner tonight. And we fed all four of us for $23, so that was pretty good, considering the prices of everything these days… They even gave me two extra nuggets, as I had six nuggets, in my 4-count box!
After dinner, Jeff took the girls home, and I went out to the church for praise team rehearsal. I missed my turn last month in the rotation, so it had been a while, and I was glad to be back to singing again tonight, especially with my favorite singing partners, Jen & Bart. 🙂
Addison was sound asleep when I got home, but Emerson was quietly watching videos on her Kindle in her bed. I did prayers and lullabies with her, and then she went to sleep easily. I gave Addison a kiss on the back of her head as Jeff walked by to take her to bed, and then came to blog. I was too full after dinner for ice cream, so I didn’t have any dessert then. I think I’ll go grab myself a little snack of milk & cookies, and finish this episode, before starting to wind down for bedtime…
