Today was the last day of summer camp at East Hill for these cute girls. Addison has loved it there her first summer, and has really thrived. And Emerson managed to still have a fun summer, even with a broken arm for most of it.
This weeks’ theme was superhero’s, so Emmie wore her pink cape today, and we dubbed her “Super Emmie!”

And after slowly moving and organizing all week, I finally got everything completely refreshed and settled in my new office! I even printed new photographs to replace all my old ones, since I hadn’t done that since 2022! My old photos include pics from when Addie was only 1 year old, and Emmie was newly 5 and about to enter her kindergarten year. So it was clearly time to replace. Anyways, everything is so neat and tidy and bright and sunny and cute and cozy, and I honestly love it so much! And since I love it so much and I’m so proud of how it all came together, there are lots of new office photos in this post today 🙂

Nana picked up the girls early from summer camp today, and took them shopping for a bit for some new school shoes. And they also both chose some pink cowgirl boots as well 😆 Then we all met up at Sonny’s for dinner, where Addison ordered double mac & cheese, and yet ended up eating 5 of Nana’s ribs instead! We also did a quick run through TJ Maxx after dinner, and found all sorts of things we both needed and didn’t…

I finished this adorable puzzle last night, and this was another good one. Making myself take a break for the weekend though, to force myself to get some chores done, instead of just putting puzzles together 😉

And both girlies looked so cute together, wearing their little matching pj sets for bedtime!

Addie made it in her bed until about 1am again last night, and then joined us again. But she’s back in her bed tonight, and we’re trying a new lighting situation, and we’re also going to order her the same kind of little lamp/sound machine combo like Emmie has, which is a little dim, domed light that can stay on all night, but also set on a schedule to slowly brighten when it’s time to wake up in the mornings, if she makes to that point in her own bed, that is!
