10 Things I Hate About Brew

Addie just wanted to re-wear the same outfit from last night, and it wasn’t dirty since it was only about an hour or so for church, so obviously I agreed to that. And Emmie found this bright, fun pineapple shirt that Aunt Jane brought back from her from Hawaii, and even the tiny matching pineapple key chain to go with it!

And today was one of those great days with The Frother’s Daughter trailer parked at my office building again. There are about five different drinks from the August specials menu that I want to try, but today I went with “10 Things I Hate About Brew,” which is a play off of the movie “10 Things I Hate About You.” I haven’t watched that movie in forever, but I think it’s time for a re-watch this summer! Anyways, all of the summer drinks have been movie-related, and I’ll have to cram in a few more visits throughout the month if I want to try the other few that sound so good.

We had to make a few stops at both Walgreens and Publix tonight after I picked up the girls from camp, so we grabbed BOGO popcorn chicken, and a few cold sides from the deli section and had that for dinner, since I just really wasn’t in the mood to actually cook tonight. So we watched HP3 and I worked on this puzzle, until it was time to get the girls started on bedtime.

Emerson was wearing her donut pillow and a donut hat while watching the movie, and she just looked so silly chillin’ like that.

Addie only made it in her bed last night until about 11pm, as I was walking back to my own bed. But she came out crying for Mama and just really wanting to hold me. And she was so sad and pitiful I couldn’t make her go back to her bed, so she came to our bed and I cuddled her back to sleep.

But she was ready to try again tonight, so we read a little more of the “Brave” book, and then after plenty of snuggles she got tucked in and Daddy came to sit by her side.

It was just so easy with Emerson, who practically never got up out of her bed and never came to sleep in our bed. She used to be really difficult to get to sleep, but once she was asleep, she stayed put! It may be a while before Addison actually gets to the point of sleeping through the whole night in her bed on her own. But maybe if we keep trying, and maybe she’ll make it through a little bit each night, hopefully we’ll get to that point eventually…
