Empty Office

My cutie little matching girlies hopped out and posing perfectly for a quick pic at drop-off.

With my new promotion at work also comes a new, bigger office. So over the past few days I’ve been slowly moving out of the office I’ve been in for the past 10 full years. I moved into this office in August 2016 when I got a promotion back in the day then. So that’s a long time to be in one spot, and a lot of stuff collecting there that whole time. I also had to leave behind my little note from Emmie, written a few months back with her left hand, when she broke her right arm.

I also lost all of these cute drawings and artwork on the back of my door, since they basically all ripped when I was trying to remove them. So tonight, I put in a request with the girls to make me some more good stuff at school, so I can re-do my gallery in my new office!

After work tonight, we actually had some free time before church, since neither Jeff nor I were serving tonight. So we had a quick dinner, and then watched some of Harry Potter 3, and I worked on my next new Hobbry puzzle, and it was just so weird having free time and not needing to rush!

Then we headed up to the church for awards night for the GC Girls & GC Boys Wednesday night programs. This was the last Wednesday before they all promote to their next class up for the new school year, and they all got recognized for all the different badges they earned and Bible lessons they attended things they accomplished.

Addison was too shy and wouldn’t participate in her group up on stage, but she did earn some badges that they presented to her anyways. But Emerson did participate in her group and did a great job!

Emerson will stay in her same group for this next school year, because the 3rd-5th grade girls are all in one class together, called Stars. But Addison will promote out of the preschool Rainbows class, into the kindergarten Daisies class.

And a beautiful sunset sky when we walked out at the end of the service tonight!

So last night, Jeff stayed in Addison’s room for about an hour until he could sneak out. Then she came back out of her room around 10pm, but Jeff got her to lay back down. But then around 1:30, she snuck into our bed and stayed there the right of the night. So, I guess she made it about half of the night? We’re trying again tonight, and she claims she wants to sleep in there by herself the whole night. So again, we’ll see how it goes!
