Look at these two beautiful daughters of mine! And the pretty flowers at church too 🙂 Addie wanted to bring her unicorn her big sissy got her for her birthday today. And she is also wearing her new Elsa heels Grandmommie gave her for her birthday.
We went out to Milano’s for lunch with church friends. And I forgot to take photos… And then even though Addison “wasn’t tired,” her and I napped in my bed for 2.5 hours together, from about 2:30-5pm. Jeff went to pick up a late afternoon grocery order, and Emerson helped me wash up some dishes. Then we all worked together to clean up the living room and put away some of Addie’s new birthday gifts. We had dinner at home and watched a little episode of The Gummy Bears from the ’80’s, and got the girls ready for bed. And I never took any photos…
Aunt Meggie and Uncle Bo got Addison this new mermaid nightgown for her birthday, and it’s so soft and silky and Addie loves it. Pennie was all up in the middle of everyone, and the girls were just loving all over here, and she just sat there and let them. And I finally took some bedtime photos! So I only took any photos in the morning & the evening today.
We tried to get Addison to fall asleep in her own bed tonight, and it was a quite a fight, but between the new night light from Grammy, and reading a book with Mommy, and then lullabies with Daddy (with some tears in between), she did actually fall asleep in her bed. However, it wasn’t too much longer after that she woke up crying for Daddy again, so who knows how the rest of the night will go…
