Sweet, loving girls comforting each other before hopping in the car for school.

And their usual car-selfie in the drop-off line with Daddy, just without Daddy actually in the picture today.

Delicious veggie curry for lunch today, and finished up my library Kindle book.

Tonight’s dinner was simple, but everyone ate it all up, and I didn’t even have to force Addie to eat, so that’s always a win-win!

And all night, along with most of the world probably, we were listening to Dolly’s greatest hits in her honor. Poor Addie was definitely very sad when she heard the news tonight, because she’s loved Dolly ever since our visit to Pigeon Forge on spring break last year. We went to Dolly Parton’s Stampede, and then listened to her music for weeks and weeks on end. I even made Addison’s 4th birthday cake last year with Dolly products from Walmart!

Her favorite song is “Love is a Butterfly,” and we play it for her when she’s happy, and we play it for her sometimes when she’s upset and it will put her in a good mood. So of course we had to put that one one again, as our last song before settling down for bedtime.
