We were so very excited for Friday!

There was just something about this outfit (the skirt specifically), and her hair, that just made her seem so big and grown up today!
This coming Sunday is Grandparents Day, so Growing Room hosted a little Grandparents’ Day “tea party” today (although there was no actual tea), but they had a great time! (Already apologized directly, but public apologies to Nana & PopPop, because of a miscommunication I thought they were out of town today, so they missed the tea.) And yes, Ellie insisted on coming to Addie’s class with the three Grandparents. 🙂
After a long day at school and work, we all went over to Grammy and Papa’s house for family dinner. We had bbq from Willie Jewels and Aunt Suzanne made some delicious cheesy potatoes, and we had a (chaotic & emotional) good evening all together.
This very tired girl fell asleep in the car (as did Addie of course) on our way home, and then after a quick snuggle in Emerson’s bed together, both girls zonked out within minutes of getting them ready for bed.
I’m just about ready to zonk out myself now, but first I just wanna zone out and watch a comfort movie on Netflix…
