Cheesy Smile

Cutie, cutie little girls, and Addie’s biggest cheesy smile!

Loved seeing our triplet girls at drop-off this morning!

How adorable is this girl in her overalls, wearing another one of Mommy’s old headbands?!

Found this little enchilada bowl at Aldi a while back but forgot about it until today. It was spicier than expected (in a good way), and it was really good.

Happy little girl, playing out on the playground today.

I had plans to cook dinner at home tonight, but Jeff was just really jonesin’ for a burger and ice cream, so we decided to go to Culvers for dinner instead. And it was really yummy, and the weather was so nice (surprisingly so), and we got to pet the sweetest golden retriever named Charlie.

It was just about bedtime when we got home, so we started getting the girls in their jammies and starting on the bedtime routines. But first, Addie climbed in Emmie’s bed, and found a tiny dinosaur, and keptĀ roaring.

We watched Bluey for a little bit, and Addie had some milk, and Emmie had a snack.

Then Emmie helped me water all of our indoor houseplants, for “Thirsty Thursday,” when we forget to do it on a busy “Water Wednesday.” (The poor little plant in the blue pot on the left on the table wasn’t getting enough sunlight on the opposite side of the room, so we moved it over here right in front of the windows, and we’re hoping we can nurse it back to life.)

During our little devotional tonight, while I was reading Judges 7:15-22, Emmie picked up her bubbles to be her torch, and was playing her little trumpet, acting out the Bible story. This was totally all her idea, and I was so delighted and impressed with her for doing this.

Jeff clearly did a great job getting Addie to sleep, and put himself to sleep at the same time.

I scooped Addie up and laid her in her crib, and Jeff went to give Emmie some bedtime loves. I’ve had a sinus headache all day, so I need to finally get myself some Sudafed or Claritin or something, and then get myself some rest.
