This baby girl look especially adorable today, and also more grown up than usual. I’m not ready for her to be TWO in a few weeks! I also purposefully chose fruity outfits for them to sorta match, and that was super cute.
And although Emerson had a bit of a rough morning at home (she got in trouble for not listening and jumping on the bed and almost knocking her sister off the bed), she was fine by the time they got to school, and she had a good drop off.
Jeff took Addison for a mid-morning, one-year-post-op check-up to the ENT, for them to check out her ears and tubes and make sure things were still going well. Afterwards, she was a bit grumpy, so they stopped at Walgreens for a new sippy cup, paci, and a snack, and then he took her back to school in time for lunch and nap.
And then she had a good afternoon at school…
When I picked up Addie from school, she had these adorable little piggies, in perfect condition. But the time we made it to dinner, they were quite a mess, but still super cute.
The girls and I had taquitos, yellow rice and black beans for dinner, while Jeff mowed the back yard and did some weed-eating. Then we went outside to watch him for a bit, and let Emmie gallivant around for a while. (I was holding Addie the whole time.)
We cleaned up a little bit, then got the girls in jammies, and they each had a snack and a drink and a melatonin gummy to help out with night time, especially since Jeff was still outside and it’s very hard to do all of our normal routine stuff by myself. He did finish up and get showered, and then he was able to hold Addie for a bit so I could read to Emmie.
I’m choosing not to wash dishes tonight, but to repaint my fingernails instead, while I finish watching my current episode of “Firefly Lane.”
