First Swim!

This morning, Emerson dressed herself up like an adorable pre-teen, and attended Riley’s dance recital at TCC with Grammy. She picked this outfit, and asked me to do her hair how she wanted it, then packed her little purse, and she was just too cute!!

I spent most of my morning working around the house, doing some chores and tidying and washing dishes. Then we had a big lunch at Hobbit with the whole family afterwards (but I forgot to take any photos), and then we ran a few errands (and I still didn’t take any photos). We had about one hour back at the house, where I took a micro nap for about 20 minutes, and then we all got ready. We headed out to a birthday pool party for Emerson’s friend Makenzee from church, for the first swim of the summer season! Jeff and Addie swam too, but I just sat around chatting with a few of my friends.

After the party when Emmie got changed into dry clothes, she decided to try out a center part in her hair, and then swiped my phone to use as a mirror and check herself out. And she’s still so cute!

And that’s all I’ve got for today… I’m super tired tonight, even fell asleep on the couch while the girls watched their show right before bedtime, so I better head to bed soon and get some sleep!
