Fall Family Fest at the Farm

Y’all today has been a LONG, full, great day, and I have almost 40 photos, so let’s jump to it. Jeff brought the girls in to praise team rehearsal this morning to see us sing, and my friend Jennifer invited Emmie up up on the stage with us, and took all the photos, and I just loved it 🙂

Emmie rode in the Jeep with Grammy and Papa to lunch, with the windows down and her hair blowing like crazy. We had lunch at Dave’s Pizza Garage, and it was delicious. It had been years since we’d been there, but we won’t wait so long to go back next time!

Then we went over to spend a couple of hours at Grammy’s house… (with a homemade Keurig cappuccino from Mama’s coffee bar)…

And then we went out to Aunt Louise’s Farm with the family, as a part of the Generations Church fall family fest. (That’s Meg & Bo’s church.) Meg and Bo have taken the girls there multiple times, but it was our first time there, and we had a blast!

Everything was so chaotic, we forgot to get a photo of Jeff and I with the girls, and we forgot to get one of Emerson and Addison together, and honestly that really bums me out…

We had so much fun out at the farm, running around for a couple of hours, playing with cousins and new friends and old friends, and petting animals and riding the tractor and playing in the corn. It was the best afternoon, and we loved it! We were exhausted though for sure, so we just got some dinner on the way home (which was it’s own drama in itself), ate really quickly at home, then got all of us cleaned up and ready for bed. It was definitely late by the time we got Emerson down, but Jeff just fed Addison her last bottle, and she’ll be ready to lay down for the night soon too.
