Dino Girls Cafe

After uploading/downloading today’s photo’s, there’s only 11 minutes left of my episode of “The Mindy Project,” so I’m putting myself on a timer to finish before the episode ends. So let’s just start talking about these cute little dino girls in their matching dresses!

Had to stop by the trippies classroom to get some hugs before we went to Addie’s classroom.

Cute little Emmie before summer camp drop-off at East Hill.

And then at the end of the day, they were so cute and excited to see each other again at pick-up, and about 5 moms/teachers all commented on how cute their matching dino dresses were.

I saw a little “hack” on TikTok that you could put the ends of your green onions in water in a small jar in the window sill, and you can grow them right in your kitchen. So I decided to give that a try. I’ll report back once we see some progress, because I love having green onions on hand.

I made a random hodge-podge of stuff for dinner, and then we just ate in the living room, listening to one of our cute lo-fi YouTube stations.

We had lots of free time after dinner, so all four of us went to sit outside and play for a while. They girls were playing Dino Girls Cafe in their little pink playhouse, bringing us “drinks” and “smoothies” and “coffees.”

Then we put them back in their little matching pink kitty cat nightgowns, grabbed some snacks, and then watched a movie for a bit before bedtime.

I ended up falling asleep on the couch shortly after I took that last picture, and the girls were both being so calm and sweet and chill, so they ended up staying up later than usual. But once we did start bedtime, they were still sweet and easy to get to sleep. And I’m guessing it won’t be long until I’m asleep for real myself too.

And with just 1 minute left in my episode, I completed my random and unnecessary challenge deadline, and I’m proud of myself for that 😉
