Delayed

So, the start time of school was delayed today “in an abundance of caution” for severe weather. So Jeff went on to work at the regular time, and the girls and I had a nice slow morning at home. I even made egg sandwiches for breakfast before getting dressed for the day, and then we had an easy drop-off of both girls!

At the end of the day, I picked up both girls again, ordered dinner on the Wendy’s app for drive-thru pickup, and raced to church to get there in time for worship team rehearsal. Jeff got there right as we did, but the girls still wanted to come into the sanctuary to watch Mommy, and play around for a few minutes.

I actually came home after I finished singing, so that I could do some pre-vacation chores around the house. I only had about 40 minutes at home alone, but I used my time wisely and was very productive. Jeff and the girls actually just got back home, so we’re gonna do a quick bedtime, and then I’ll keep working on some more chores, like washing dishes.
