Copy-Cat

Adorable little baby girls on their gas station run with Daddy this morning, one of whom was decked out in her kitty cat ears.

Copy-cat Chick-fil-A southwest chicken salads, complete with the grocery store version of their salad dressing too. I made the salads for Jeff and I, but the girls just had the chicken, corn, beans, cheese & tortilla strips all deconstructed on their little sectioned plates, with ketchup and ranch. And these salads turned out so good! Jeff was like, “Babes, this is great.” Which is pretty high praise 😉

Addie had a little bath after dinner, while I helped Emmie type up some homework for her final third grade project! We watched our bedtime tv episode, then got started on bedtime, which included this very cute unicorn book.

And Jeff took the band-aids off Addie’s leg again tonight, and it’s looking really good. We convinced her that we didn’t need to put more on tonight, since it’s all scabbed up now. But she’s still trying to milk it and limp around a little bit, like it’s worse than it actually. So we make sure to give her plenty of love and attention.

The rest of the bedtime routine went quick and easy, and I got lots of sweet hugs and loves from both my baby girls.
