Today was supposed to be pirate theme at camp, so Emerson wanted to wear her little red bandanna. But I had no idea how to actually do that particular style, but she still looks adorable. And Addison just wanted a cute little pony-tail!
When I picked them up at the end of the day, Addison was so excited to tell me she had earned the Cool Camper award this week! That basically means she was the best camper in her group this week, and I was so proud of her! (Look HERE for when Emmie got Cool Camper back in 2023!)
And Emerson came home with a parrot on her shoulder, and fancy little fake fingernails.
Addie’s group also won their weekly camp cheer competition, and she was repeating it all the way home. I asked her if she would let me video it when we got home, and agreed. But then I was still kinda surprised that she actually did let me video it, because she can be so contrary sometimes 😆 It’s kinda quiet, so turn your volume up, but it was so cute!
Shared my June reading tracker today, and I had a high-volume month last month. But still had a few duds, at only two stars, but a couple of really good four-and-five-star reads as well!
We had a typical pizza-Friday-night, and then did some tidying and cleaning up around the living room and kitchen tonight, since we won’t really be home tomorrow due to a busy day.
