Churro Latte

Day 4 of Mega Sports camp, and they got to switch activities today to get a little taste of some of the other areas.

And I was just ecstatic to have The Frother’s Daughter back at my office building today! For a the past few summers, they’ve parked at our office every Thursday, but they only just now came for the first time this summer today. They’ll be here on Thursdays for another few weeks, and you know of course I’ll be getting myself a delicious fancy coffee every Thursday! Today I got the churro latte with ducle de leche drizzle, caramel shortbread foam & cinnamon sugar dusting. And wooowww this was amazing. Definitely one of my favorites ever.

Tonight was my fifth night in a row cooking dinner, and so I just had to do the most simple thing possible. Air-fried chicken nuggets, Annie’s white cheddar mac & cheese, and frozen green peas, with buffalo sauce on mine and ranch for the others.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and then we snuggled up on the couch for some tv time before bed. And sweet, sleepy little Addie Pie fell asleep right there on the couch leaning on Mama’s arm. She stayed snoozing like this for about 15-20 minutes, while I was telling Jeff this whole crazy story from work, just going on and on and talking up a storm. We then watched a video with Emmie about Silver Glen Springs on YouTube, and Addie still stayed asleep during that too.

And once it was finally time for bed, Emerson and I went to her room, and Daddy just carried Addison to the bed and laid her down, and she stayed totally asleep!

I’m exhausted tonight, both physically and mentally, so I think I’m just about tapped out for the night…
