Chaos

Getting back into the swing of things today after four days off of our typical schedule led to a bit of a rough and chaotic morning before school and work. But we made it to the car eventually, and I took the girls to school, and everyone was happy and smiling by the time we got there! So thank the Lord for that! However unfortunately, I made it all the way to my desk before realizing I had forgotten my laptop at home, so I had to back and get it before I could finally start working for the day…

And who saw this craziness in the sky this morning!? We actually missed the SpaceX launch, but I loved this picture and how cool it looked, and wanted to document it here.

So then fast-forward to post work & school, and we had a chaotic evening, getting to the gym before realizing Emmie didn’t have her leotard, then racing home to get her changed, and racing back to get Addie to class on time. But they both had a great class, and I finally started reading “Threshing Day,” even though I had pre-ordered it months ago, and it was delivered on publication day two weeks ago.

Jeff had taken Addison home after her class, so when Emerson was done, her and I went through Arby’s for her “second dinner” she requested. Addison was asleep by the time we got home, so we watched an episode of Lizzie McGuire while she ate. She was ready for bed quickly though, and fell asleep easily.
