2002 Crossword Puzzles

Emerson and I were out of the house super early this morning, to race over for her 7:30am orthodontist check-up. The doctor said everything is still looking good, and that she was the poster child for her teeth doing exactly what they’re supposed to be doing. And it was hat day at school today, so both Emmie, and Addie (who came to school later with Daddy), were very cute in little hats.

I had to run out during my lunch break today to drop off some paperwork at my doctor’s office. So I also grabbed a salad from Chipotle, and then just parked at the doctor’s office. While I ate, I listened to my audio book, and then switched over to reading my physical book when I finished eating.

Afternoon break (which I rarely actually take, except for when I’m reading a good book I really wanna get back into), was a super fast crossword puzzle, a chapter in my book, and a canned cafe con leche.

And would you believe I’ve had this same crossword book since middle school!? I go through phases where I love doing them and do multiple puzzles a day, and then I’ll get out of the habit for months on end and not touch them. Or I’ll get a new crossword book or word search book and so this one has lasted me for 24 years!! 🤣

After picking up the girls from school, I raced to get Emerson some dinner, and get her to church by 6pm for kids choir rehearsal. Jeff also had to be at church early, so that left just me and Addie Pie. She requested Chick-fil-A for dinner, so we had ourselves a cute little dinner date together, before we headed to church as well.

Then we saw a beautiful sunset sky on our way to church down West Tennessee Street.

We had an easy night after church tonight and the girls both went to sleep quickly. I’m going to get started on a new puzzle tonight, and see if I can finish it up in the next few days, before the next puzzle swap coming up on Sunday.
