babette ate oatmeal!

Starting off with sister pics at the beginning of a weird day…

I went to work for an hour, and then wen to TOC for a follow-up about my neck/shoulder pain. The pain is definitely better, but there’s something weird happening in my upper arm, so I’m gonna just continue PT for a bit longer.

Then is scurried over just two minutes away to try out this new coffee truck I’ve been following on social media for a while. It’s called Lover’s Coffee Club, and it was so cute! They had a special Gilmore Girls menu for the month, and although a couple of them all sounded really good, I went with the “babette ate oatmeal!” and it was soooo good. They also gave me a cute little GG-themed Chilton sticker too. Honestly, the drink was pricey, but very good.

I went back to work after getting my coffee, and then my work day was crazy with actual work stuff, and trying to hire a new employee stuff, and figuring out the hurricane stuff re: both work and school. And just WOW.

But then after work and school, we did more weird stuff – I picked up both girls, we went to the Publix parking lot on Thomasville Road, Jeff and my dad met up with us there so Jeff could do something in my dad’s car real quick. I left Addie there with Jeff, and then they went up to Havana for dinner with his parents, and for him to help hang up their new tv wall mount. And Emerson and I went to dinner at Culver’s (her choice of course, always), and then on to gymnastics.

Then while we waited on Jeff and Addie to get back home, Emmie and I watched some of The Lizzie McGuire Movie together, and I did my puzzle.

It was very late once they got home, but we got them both in bed immediately, and although it took them some time to settle down once they laid down, they did actually fall asleep pretty quickly. Tomorrow, school is releasing early, and our offices are closing early, so it’ll be kind of a weird day again tomorrow too. It’ll be wet and soggy though, that’s for sure!
