Cute little girls, ready for camp! And Daddy picked Emmie’s “third grade” shirt for Addie to wear, and such tiny shorts you can’t even see them. But they’re both still adorable, obviously.
We went out on our lunch break to the VW dealership to pick up my car from yesterday. We also had a quick lunch together, and then I went back to work. But about 30 minutes later, Jeff came by my office with an afternoon coffee delivery, accompanied by the cute little “Blondie” key chain from jackpot day today! So yummy, and so cute!

Finally got back to cooking again, like the way I used to most nights when I had a working stove! It took me a week to get back to the swing of that, and it’s still taking me some time to adjust to cooking on this induction cooktop, since it’s a little different. Tonight I made creamy garlic chicken, for only the second time, after making it back in January or February, I can’t remember… And look at that cute new snake plant back there, I got for $5 off a girl on Facebook Marketplace, and I’m gonna take it to my office.

Both girls ate super well tonight – both cleaned their plates of their first helpings, then Addie had seconds of beans & rice, and Emmie had seconds of beans, and FOUR total helpings of rice!

I’ve been super into doing these word searches lately, and can usually knock out like 2-4 of these in a night while the girls watch PB&J before their bedtime. Emmie loves looking over my shoulder and trying to find words with me too.

Addie brought out this tiny princess puzzle for us to work on together, and she was so proud of herself for finishing it, and doing a lot of it on her own.

Had some reading time together with my mini-me at bedtime, while Jeff worked on getting Addie calmed down and ready for sleep.

I already spent some time washing dishes after getting Emmie to sleep, and now I’m starting up a new Netflix show. Well, not a new show, but the newest season of DCC America’s Sweethearts, which I’m a bit behind on.
