Victory Apple

Another Monday morning, another photo of cute girlies. And Addie Pie with what she kept calling her “Victory Apple” for breakfast. She literally repeated it like 7 or 8 times, and we never could get an answer about why she was calling it that. It was so cute and funny though!

Look at this little movie star on her way out to the car after school today.

I quickly mixed up a bowl of chicken salad, and diced up some strawberries, then just ripped up some lettuce for a super simple Caesar salad. I had my chicken salad on toasted keto bread and a ton of lettuce. I literally just realized I forgot to add extra pickles though, so that was a bummer. The girls actually really loved the chicken salad too, and Jeff had two sandwiches, he loved it so much.

Emerson insisted on taking a picture with my puzzle from last night before she would let me tear it apart. She did help me with this one a little bit more than the last few though, so at least there’s that…

We got the puzzle packed up, and the girls changed into their jammies. Addie grabbed another “victory apple,” and we sat down on the couch to watch our bedtime tv show, and I just read my book.

Addie refused to go to her bed tonight, so I let her fall asleep in my bed, and I’ll tote her back to her bedroom later tonight when I’m ready to lay down myself.

But first, I need to go wash up some dishes, but I’ll probably just do the bare minimum, since it’s almost 10pm and I’m just not feelin’ it tonight!
