Triple Threat & Sliced Bananas

After five days off of school and work, we had to get back in our routine today. Thankfully, everything went smoothly (and only a few minutes late), and we had an easy drop-off. Both girls looked pretty in pink in their new unicorn dresses!

Emmie has been wanting “regular pony tails” the last couple of days, and they are pretty cute. This one today was all curled up inside itself, and I loved that!

Lunch date today with my fave ladies, sister & mama, at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Maria Maria. We got the triple threat dip trio to share (guac, queso, & salsa), and I tried something new today, and absolutely loved it.

The new thing I tried is the carnitas sope (on the left) and it was sooo good; and on the right, a chicken fajita taco, which I’ve had before, and was just as good the second time. I could eat another one of those carnitas sopes right now!

I made spaghetti, salad and garlic bread for dinner. Emerson however didn’t want either of my “sides” options, so she chose a banana & Gogurt to go with her butter noodles. Fine by me! She even sliced up her banana herself!

We got out this little jumpy thing for Addie tonight, and despite the somber look on her face, she actually really loved it, and stayed in it happily for quite a while.

I fed Addison a bottle after dinner, and Jeff got Emerson ready for bed, and then both girls played with their new Cabbage Patch baby dolls some more.

Emerson had a bath tonight, and her curly hair was so pretty!

Emerson had a decent bedtime, but has since gotten up out of bed about four times, so that’s not going too well. Addison on the other hand fell asleep easily after her bottle, and has been snoozing away in her bed for an hour already. I started to wash the dishes earlier, but my ear buds were dead, and I just can’t wash dishes without listening to music or an audiobook while I work. So I plugged them up to charge, and now that I’m finishing up this post, I’m heading back to the kitchen to get that taken care of.
