Trilogy

Only three quick trilogy of updates & photos for today’s post:

ONE: We needed to gas up the car this morning, so we also ran inside the fancy gas station to grab breakfast sandwiches. Jeff and Addie both get a bacon, egg & cheese croissant, Emmie gets a sausage, egg & cheese croissant (but takes off the sausage and I eat it for extra protein), and I get a chorizo, egg & cheese tortilla wrap (for fewer carbs than the croissants).

TWO: I had a dermatology appointment late this afternoon (where they removed a skin tag from my upper thigh; they’ll biopsy & call me with results in a couple of weeks), and then I stopped by a LFL on my way to pick up the girls, and lucked out finding this trilogy box set, which I’ve never read.

THREE: I picked up the girls, and then Jeff, and we had a very fast dinner at Barrio, before they dropped me off at church for worship team rehearsal. They ran back home before church started, and found our cooktop was finally delivered! Remember how it cracked like, 17 years ago? (Ok wow I just looked it up, didn’t realize it had actually been over two whole months!)

The first one we ordered was delayed forever, and then FedEx finally told us it was broken and they wouldn’t deliver it. And then it was a whole thing trying to get it cancelled with the third-party seller through Walmart. Anyways, we finally ordered a new, different one, from a different place, and now it’s here! And now we have a super busy weekend coming up, but hopefully Jeff can find some time to install it, so I can finally cook on the stove again!

Easy bedtime tonight for two very tired girls after church tonight, and now I’ve got to read my book a little bit, as I still have 40-50 pages left to finish our book for tomorrow night’s book club meeting!
