Addison and I did drop-off with Aunt Meggie and the triplets today. Everyone did great and was sweet.
And Emerson did great with Daddy too. She was supposed to be dressed as her favorite book character today, so she was “Pinkalicious,” and picked out her own pink socks and everything.
And Emmie had a great day at school today, and we actually got lots of pictures of her! One even came from one of our old Growing Room friends’ parents, which I was thankful for.
After a lot of fried food this weekend (mostly yesterday), I wanted to eat lighter today, my half tuna sandwich and one piece of avocado toast were both yummy, and definitely felt lighter.
I picked up the girls a little early today, and went out to Grammy, Papa & Grandmommie’s house.
I had a few minutes to work on their puzzle, but it’s 1000 pieces, and their super weird pieces, so I only put together a handful of pieces, but I was proud of what I was able to accomplish.
Eventually, the whole rest of the family arrived (Megan & Bo with the triplets, as well as Uncle Keith & Aunt Suzanne, and Jeff was last), and Grammy & Papa had some cute little treat bags for all the little girls, and even a bag of treats for Meg and I as well, from their recent vacation. (I’ll have to share my goodies tomorrow, since I didn’t take a pic tonight.)
We had BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for dinner, and Uncle Keith made mummy dogs for the girls. (Hot dogs wrapped up in crescent rolls, like you’ve probably seen on Pinterest or Facebook.) And then it was time for our second annual trick or treating adventure out on Copperfield Circle! This isn’t the road my parents live on, but it’s very nearby, so we go over their from their house for the best trick or treating around!
All the littles took turns hopping in & out of the wagon throughout the night, and all the adults took turns pulling it.
We forgot Addie’s paci, and she was getting fussy towards the end, so we “pacified” her with chocolate instead.
Kensley has LOVED being Stitch the past couple of days (the most enthusiastic Stitch, in a world full of princesses), and she was beside herself when we saw this one in someone’s yard. All of the girls went running up to it, and they all kissed it 😆
We lasted walking around for about an hour, then we hoofed it back to the car, 2 girls in the wagon, 1 girl in the stroller, and 2 girls being carried. We went back to Grammy’s to get changed and pack up all the stuff and all the girls, and they each got a treat for the ride home. And of course my two girls fell asleep in the car on our 30-minute drive home.
It’s hard to tell, but Addie was like a little drunk passed out girl, covered in her snack, cuz she has goldfish all over her lap and her seat.
We got both girls to sleep right away, easy peasy no problems. We had a great night! We loved being with our family, and getting to create more sweet, special memories for our five sweet girls!
Oh and also, here’s our cute little one-second-everyday video for October!
