I was at church bright and early this morning for praise team rehearsal, but Jeff did a great job getting the girls dressed in the outfits I laid out, and they were all ready to go and looking precious. Loved their little tights and cardigans (well, Emmie didn’t have hers on the photo, but…) on this rainy, chilly day.
We had a Panera gift card I was really wanting to use for lunch, but it was absolutely pouring rain, and we didn’t want to get the girls in and out of the car again (it was more than enough just doing it after church), so instead we got carry-out pizza instead, so only Jeff had to get out of the car again for that.
After lunch, we all changed into our “soft clothes,” and settled down for nap time, for all four of us…
After nap time, we had just a few minutes to get dressed, and these cuties were all sweet on the couch together.
We dropped the girls off at church, and then Jeff and I met all the other adults in our Connect Group from church over at Chow Time for dinner. There was a big group, and we sat by some new friends we were able to get to know more, and we had really good food.
Then of course it was time to get the girls ready for bed as soon as we got home. I lit a new candle, and we went through their separate bedtime routines, but both girls were pretty sleepy and things went pretty smoothly.
I need to wash up some dishes and get the kitchen cleaned up a little bit, so we can start the week off a little more organized and tidied up.
