I am unbelievably tired tonight (I was falling asleep on the couch at like 7:30, with “Chip & Potato” on Netflix and the girls wandering all over the place), so this is a very bare-bones post… We started our day with our current favorite homemade oatmeal, then dropped of a box of donations at Goodwill, and picked up our Walmart groceries.
Jeff and his parents were still up in Georgia watching the last bit of Ryan’s National Rifle competition, before they hit the road mid-afternoon. (Jeff’s thinking about writing up a blog post detailing that whole thing more, so that’ll be cool if he does that.)
The girls and I went over to Grammy, Papa, and Grandmommie’s house after our errands, so they could babysit all three of us for a while 🙂
We got back home just 5 minutes before Daddy got back home, and we were so glad to see him. We did dinner and bath for the girls, and then that’s when I started falling asleep on the couch while I was trying to read my Kindle book.
Emerson did so well going to sleep tonight, but Addison on the other hand needed to fight us on it for a while, so Jeff’s still working on getting her to sleep. And now that it’s the super late hour of 8:44 as I finish this, I think it’s time to cozy up and get ready for sleep now myself.
