Three Gallons

Addison had fall pictures at school today, so she was dressed a little fancy in her church dress. I hope she smiled for them!

Just now realized how much the socks Daddy picked out don’t match though, so I hope maybe those won’t show in the photos, haha 😉

On my way in the door today, my boss was like, “I left some can tabs on your desk for you.” I don’t know what I expected to see, but I certainly didn’t expect to see THREE GALLONS of can tabs! And yes, even two years later, we’re still collecting these all the time to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, in honor of our stay there during Emerson’s open-heart surgery!

Emerson had herself a good drop-off with Daddy today, looking cute in her tiny shorts and Marie t-shirt. (All of which came home super messy today, so I’ve stain-treated basically her entire outfit tonight.)

For lunch today, I met up with my Mama, specifically so she could bring us the one Addie-shoe we left in the Jeep on Halloween night. But then she forgot to bring the shoe! Obviously I didn’t mind, because I just loved having lunch with her! And of course I loved the delicious food from Siam Sushi. We both got their lunch special, which is two rolls, and soup or salad (she got soup, I got salad), and I also got a Thai iced coffee, which is so good.

Got a couple cute, funny pics of Addie Pie in our parent app today…

I made some air-fried chicken nuggets (they were actually really good) for dinner, with rice & green beans, and everyone ate really well.

Then I had to take a picture with my littlest girl since we were wearing our matching dresses today.

We did bath time for the girls after dinner, and then got them both dried and dressed in their jammies, and had some calm rest time watching tv for a little bit. We love watching a couple of short episodes of “Bluey” as our little calm down time every night, because they’re so cute and the girls love them, and they make us parents laugh out loud too.

Addie fell asleep really easily tonight, but Emmie needed a little extra love and cuddles. Everyone is fine by now though, so we’re ready to just sit down and rest for a while tonight, since I actually got this done earlier than usual. Also, I think Jeff might be falling asleep early himself, so I’m going to make some hot tea, finish up another season finale of “Survivor,” and then I’m going to read my book, and maybe even finish that tonight too.
