We had an accidental group drop-off all together today, when we saw Uncle Bo & the trippies pull up & park right next to us at school this morning.

So I never blogged about it last year, because it happened during the few weeks I took off from blogging right after Addie was born, but we had a termite infestation this time last year. So we called Paul’s, and they got ’em all (after we paid an arm and a leg), and we have had continued maintenance for the past year. Well, there was another bad swarm not only in our neighborhood last weekend but all around town apparently, so we called them to come back for another spray/treatment. So this afternoon, they came to spray literally every baseboard in our house, which meant Jeff went through every room pulling everything off the walls/baseboards, so that the man could spray. He tried to put back whatever he could, but he couldn’t get back to all of it, so the house was an absolute mess after all that.
And so that was a very long story to say, I couldn’t cook like that, and we decided to get Sonic instead. We actually ordered through their app while we sat outside, but they just completely screwed up our order so bad, and we were missing so much stuff, that they ended up just completely refunding our entire payment. So, not ideal, but at least they did something to try to fix it.
Jeff and I ran around the house trying to get things put back in order once we got home, taking turns toting Addie around with us, or letting her walk around behind us, while Emmie rocked on her rocking horse. Then we had a little bit of cuddle time, and we had a video call with Grammy, and then started getting ready for bed.

Emerson did really well at bedtime tonight, and Addison fell asleep in Mommy’s arms in the living rom. Her little head was sweaty from being tucked into the crook of my elbow, but she just curled right up in her bed when I laid her down.
I never got around to painting my nails the other night, so I think I might do that now, and just watch some tv, while Jeff’s doing some more remote computer work for someone… Followed by some reading and an early-ish bedtime.
