Flippy Hair Friday

We were happy and excited for Friday this morning! Make sure you look closely for Addie’s silly little tongue that she’s always sticking out these days 😉

I was very proud of Emerson’s pony tail this morning, it was so flippy and pretty!

Every day for the last few weeks, Addison has gotten so excited to see her teacher first thing in the mornings. She kinda squeals and giggles and kicks her little legs while I’m holding her, and I just love it so much. As most other moms who work outside the home, I hate leaving her at daycare, but it makes me SO happy that she’s so happy, and being taken such good care of. We love Miss Heather! (Just like we’ve always loved ALL of our Growing Room teachers all these years now!)

We didn’t get any pictures of Emerson at school today, but we did get quite a few of Addison.

While I was cooking dinner, Emmie was kinda just off doing her own thing, and Addie was wandering all around the house, with Daddy following her everywhere.

I made a new chicken recipe for dinner tonight, and it was fine, but nothing spectacular. It had good flavor, but it didn’t cook quite right in my air fryer (still trying to get the hang of which functions/settings to use and when), so it was fine, just nothing to write home about, if you know what I mean…

Jeff hopped in the shower after dinner, and the girls and I had some good playtime in Addison’s room. We put on music and Emmie was showing me some of her ballet dances, and then she got cookies and shared bites with Addie.

Emerson wanted to cuddle with Daddy tonight and watch some tv, so I fed Addison her bottle and we watched some praise and worship videos. Addie has really taken to the whole milk the last week, and is drinking the biggest bottles she ever has now that she’s on big girl milk.

Immediately after finishing her milk, she turned over and curled into Mommy, and fell asleep in literally 10 seconds. Emerson on the other hand, has stayed up wayyy to late, so I gotta go make sure that girl is asleep now.
