Stomping Shoes

Two little cuties, in their cutie little dresses and tennies. Also, why do Emmie’s legs look about five feet long?! She’s too big…

Addie was sporting some cute new shoes today actually. When Jeff first put them on her this morning, she walked to me in the kitchen, looked up at me with a cute closed-mouth smile, then looked down at her feet and stomped her little feet back & forth a few times, to make sure I saw her new shoes. It was adorable. Clearly they were good stomping shoes.

We got a few photos of Addie at school today, having fun and playing with friends.

When we got home from school & work, the pot roast with potatoes & carrots I had thrown in the crockpot first thing this morning smelled amazing and was ready to go. So we quickly dipped up our plates and sat down to eat right away.

After dinner we headed to church for Emerson’s first night in the “Daisies” group, which is the GC Girls Wednesday night group, where they can earn cute little badges through the year based on stuff they learn and do. Addie went to nursery, obviously, and Jeff and I went to worship & prayer meeting.

The girls were exhausted by the time we got home and started on bedtime, so luckily it was very easy to get them to sleep tonight.

We need to take care of washing up sippy cups, setting up the coffee pot, taking out the trash, and washing Emmie’s bento box. And then we can finally sit down and get a little rest.
