Today was the BGMC (Boys & Girls Missionary Challenge) Fun Run for GC Kids, so Emerson went to church looking like Sporty Spice this morning 😉
I went to church super early for praise team again today (third Sunday in a row), so Jeff got the girls some munchkins, and brought them a little bit later. He was serving on the tech team today too,s o he had to be there early as well, just not quite as early as me.
And although I did Emerson’s hair before I left, I didn’t do Addison’s – and she wanted a hair sprout again today. So Daddy took care of it, and he did a pretty decent job 🙂
We had a great morning at church, and then had great burgers for lunch afterwards.
All of us took naps at home after church; well, the girls both took naps in their bed, I eventually fell asleep on the couch after watching some YouTube videos and then I think Jeff just played video games for a while.
Once both girls finally woke up, we gathered up the cake we made yesterday, and the gifts we got for Grammy last weekend, and headed over to Grammy’s house for a little birthday pizza party.
Everyone was very tried by the time we got home, which is no surprise since it was already past regular bedtime. But luckily, both girls went to sleep easily, and Jeff fell asleep on the couch almost immediately after getting the girls in bed. Sooo maybe I’ll head back and work on the puzzle a little bit more, and then get some sleep myself.
