Addie’s sweet teacher got teary-eyed with their daily morning hug today. One of the other teachers standing there was like, “Hey, it’s not even the last day of school yet!” They’ve just loved each other so much this past year, and I’ve loved seeing their relationship. So thankful for Ms. Lord this past year!
And sweet little sisters in the sunshine again today, looking so warm and glowy.

Jeff had a birthday reward for a free pizookie from BJ’s Brewhouse, so he picked me up for a lunch date today. We started out by sharing the pretzel appetizer, then shared the fried chicken lunch meal, and then the lunch meal came with a pizookie, and he got his free birthday pizookie, so we each had our own. And everything was very yummy! I loved my biscoff pizookie.

He recently got these over-the-glasses sunglasses, and their wild, but he loves them. He was excited to show them off in a picture 😆

Grammy picked up Emerson around 2pm today, so she didn’t have to stay in aftercare the entire day, since school was out early. She hung out with them for the afternoon, and even got an afternoon dip in the pool. Then they brought her back to me when I got off work.

Grammy got CFA for the girls’ for dinner, and I grabbed sub-in-a-tub from Jersey Mike’s. Jeff met us up there too, but he was a little bit later.

Then we walked over next door to Lofty Pursuits, for a worship team night just eating ice cream and playing cards and hanging out. The girls both got little cones, but Jeff and I skipped ice cream, since we had sugar overload from lunch today.

And of course Lofty has all the toys and stuffies, so the girls had fun checking everything out. Addie loved this little manatee, but didn’t end up choosing it in the end… because of course Daddy couldn’t tell them no when they each wanted to take home a new friend!

And we spent the majority of the time hanging out in the back room, playing a couple tournaments of Spoons again! We did this last month and had a great time. Last month, I won out of everyone, and won Starbucks gift cards. Tonight, I made it to the final round again, but ultimately came in second place against my friend Sidney. It was just so much fun though!

Last night when I went to bed, I had finished everything on my puzzle except all those blue flowers in the background, like the wallpaper. But Jeff stayed up later than me, so when I woke up this morning, it was completed! Well, minus two missing pieces. This is one I got used from the puzzle swap a couple months ago, so who knows where those other two pieces actually are…

And here you can see the stuffies the girls ended up choosing tonight. They’re the Aurora Spudsters line, and they look like little potatoes and they’re so cute. Addie chose a bunny which she named Aurora, and Emmie got a little caterpillar that she name Scoopy Puff 😆 Like ice cream scoops, since she got it from the ice cream shop.

Emerson had a bit of a hard time calming down and falling asleep tonight, but she did eventually give up and she’s sleeping soundly now. And now I’m finally watching the Survivor 50 season finale now, after it aired last night. I was SO afraid of spoilers today, that I have literally not opened any of my social media apps for over 24 hours now, so that I wouldn’t accidentally see anything online! And at this point, I’ve made it, so now I get to just enjoy the exciting finale episode!
