Spooky Little Ghost Girls

Emmie was looking very cute in her gigantic first grade t-shirt for school today. They were supposed to have a big celebration with bounce houses today, but that got cancelled because of the nasty weather. But they’ll do it next Friday instead.

Love these cute little photos of Addie Pie having fun with her friends at school.

My friend who works at the Goodwill bookstore told me they had a book I’ve been looking for, so I stopped by after work to grab it. The other guy working couldn’t actually find the one I wanted, but I did find this one instead, which I’d also been looking for.

So I purposefully didn’t specify this over the last few days, didn’t want to announce it online, but Jeff was out of town all week for his annual work conference. So all I’ve been doing with this girls this week I’ve been doing on my own! Which really wasn’t too bad, but we were so glad he was coming home tonight! We all met up at his parents house to have dinner with them, and the girls literally screamed with joy when they heard his voice. We were all very excited to see him!

Nana got the girls cute little Halloween themed cookies, in the shape of jack-o-lanterns, ghosts and bats, which we had with a little bit of ice cream. When Addie noticed the ghost cookie on Nana’s plate, she leaned over and was like, “Oh, it’s SPOOKY! Woooooohh!!” Then both girls ran around for 10 minutes, being the cutest little spooky ghosts.

We had packed their little kitty cat nightgowns and sleepy gummies so that we could get them ready for bed right as it was time to head out. Emmie was very sleepy, and very happy that Pretzel wanted to lay down and cuddle her in Mommy’s bed.

Glad to have Jeff back home with us, but he’s exhausted from his conference the whole week, and the 5.5 hour drive home from Orlando with crazy traffic and a wreck on the side of the road. I’m sure he’ll be going to bed early, but I’ve got a puzzle to work on, and a book to read, so I’ll be fine while he gets some rest. 🙂
