Repeat Quesadilla

Today was tacky sweater day for spirit week at school, and although these girls aren’t tacky, they ARE the four cutest girls I’ve ever seen!!

In order below: Kensley (x2), Riley (x2), Ellie (x2).

Ellie’s thing right now is waving and saying “Hi ya!” over and over, and she’s just so excited about it every time. Also, please don’t miss that little messy hand, from playing in the leaves.

One of my coworkers brought in a crock-pot full of homemade chicken noodle soup today, and shared with all of us at lunch. And that was a nice surprise! It was also perfect time, since Emmie, Jeff and I all woke up feeling just slightly under the weather. Emmie had a tiny cough and a stuffy nose, and I have a sore throat and a headache. Jeff actually felt a little off yesterday, but I think he said he is better today already. So the soup was good, and then I had some hot tea, and I ate that orange back there, and then had a second cup of hot tea later in the afternoon.

Emerson brought home a Christmas present from her bestie twins William and Andrew, and was dying to open it as soon as we got home. She got one of those cute hot chocolate snowmen from Trader Joe’s, and some cute little gingerbread cookies for the side of the mug. So sweet of them! (Thank you, Alli!)

Since I wasn’t feeling that great, I didn’t want to cook dinner. Instead, I wanted a repeat of last night’s Taco Bell quesadilla, so that’s what we did!

Girlfriend was wired right before bedtime, so she put on some Christmas jammies, and we put on her current favorite dancing song (Blinding Lights), and she went crazy for 3-ish minutes dancing and jumping and hopping, until it was over and time to head to her room for bedtime.

Tomorrow is Christmas Pajama day at school, so she put on these Christmas jammies tonight, and she’ll just get to roll out of bed, put on her shoes, and then she’ll be ready for school! And she’s super excited about that.

I might grab another cup of hot tea, or I might just head off to bed early. Probably the early bedtime thing though.
