Today was spirit day for both girls, so we picked out school shirts for both (that just so happened to be Christmas colors). Emmie was wearing a new Gilchrist shirt that goes with this year’s rodeo/western theme, and sporting a gigantic hair bow she convinced her Daddy to buy for her at orientation.
And when Addie saw me take a picture of the back of Emmie’s hair, she made me take a picture of the back of her hair too. And it IS really pretty!
Love seeing her with her little paint palette doing her artwork at school.
I shared my Juy reading roundup today, and then went to book club tonight. We had pizza & salad from Gaines Street Pies (both a delicious fig pizza & an arugula and fig salad that I loved), and discussed “The Night Circus.” Five of the six of us had read the book before, but we still had a great discussion and a great night! There are about 12 of us total in the group, but of course not all make it to every meeting. We took this pic tonight to send to those of us that missed it.
So while I was at book club, Jeff picked up the little girlies and they went to dinner at Chick-fil-A, but they wanted chicken and a play place!
Jeff and the girls were all asleep by the time I got home close to 9:30, so I’ve been watching Netflix and writing this, and then it’s just about my bedtime as well!
