It was so dark and rainy outside this morning, I had to use the flash for our morning sister pics! And this pic just makes it really obvious to me that Emmie is missing quite a few teeth in her little mouth right now 🙂
Tonight’s dinner turned out very beige… I used a Kinder’s “butter burger blend” spice packet on the chicken (that we found BOGO while wandering Publix last Friday night, but I can’t find online right now), and we tried out Margaret Holmes canned cabbage, and some Knorr “noodle rice” as Emmie calls it. And it was good, just very much not aesthetic…
After dinner, I got the girls into the bathtub and went through that whole routine with them, while Jeff rinsed off all the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen a little bit, and took care of Pennie.
We watched Bluey and the girls had a snack, and they both did well at bedtime with no issues. I’ve got a new pumpkin candle lit (I’ve been holding on to this one in my candle closet stash since last year, and today just felt like the perfect day to pull it out) and I’ve started a new Kindle book called The Pumpkin Spice Cafe!
I need to go wash up some dishes, but then I think we’re going to put this cute little ambiance video on YouTube (do y’all like putting these on too? we love them, for all sorts of seasons and situations. We’ve even found the worship music lo-fi ones lately that are col too), and then work on the puzzle (if only I had a pumpkin-themed puzzle too!) and read a little, and just chill out a little bit this evening.
Doesn’t this just look like the most perfect little pumpkin spice cafe? Someone take me here, please!
