Polling Place

Today was a bit of a pink day for these cuties, since Emmie picked a pink shirt to match the pink dress that I had chosen for Addie.

And morning drop-off time with Daddy is still going very well. These sisters love going to school together!

Jeff had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon, so instead of going back to work, he just went to pick up the girls from school. So I went straight home after work… and snapped a photo of this cute summer-y puzzle that I finished last night.

Then once Jeff and the girls got home, I hopped in their car, and we ran over to our polling place, which is the beautiful Mission San Luis, to vote!

Afterwards, we went back home and I made breakfast for dinner, with these beautiful eggs someone gave me at church the other day. It was supposed to be burritos, because I thought we had burrito-sized tortillas, but they were not that big, so I just turned them into breakfast tacos and lightly toasted them in the pan.

The girls had a bath after dinner, and put on clean, fresh jammies, and then we headed back to the living room for their bedtime tv show. Emerson helped me put away my completed puzzle, and we chose this cute puppy one to start next. And apparently my camera has gotten so bad it went from taking slightly hazy photos, to not focusing at all anymore. So I told Jeff tonight he’s either gotta figure out if he can repair the camera or not, or he’s gotta buy me a new phone, ASAP! All other photos in today’s blog were taken with his phone, but here’s an example of what mine is doing….

I did manage to get all the pieces sorted and laid out tonight, but my back is kinda sore, randomly, so I think I’ll sit on the heating pad now, and not work on this any more tonight.
