Not much to write about today, so I’ll be keeping it super short & sweet…
Today’s cottage cheese toast toppings were chopped pistachios (that I chopped myself last night & stuffed in that tiny jar I recycled) and some hot honey. And this was really good, with really good texture & crunch.
Addie was having fun playing with her friends again today at school. Looks like they’re all holding dinosaurs, and all roaring like dinos!
Tonight was a good ole pasta night for dinner, and the girls scarfed down their butter noodles. Emmie wasn’t feeling good again this morning, so she actually stayed home with Grandmommie for the day. And since her throat was hurting, I made her a little cup of hot tea to drink with dinner too.
I washed up a load of dishes after dinner, then we got the girls down for bedtime, where I almost fell asleep with Emmie myself. But now I’ve got a new candle lit, and I’m just gonna chill out, and maybe actually go to sleep early, because I’ve been super tired the last couple of days.
I’ve started watching the “Elvis” movie on Netflix from a couple of years ago – it’s the first time I’ve seen it, and I really don’t know much about Elvis. So although I’m sure it’s slightly fictionalized for the film, it’s still really interesting and really good so far.

Doug and I went to the theatre to see the Elvis movie. I have been a fan since I was a little girl and so clearly remember the day he died. I literally could NOT sit still in my seat! I was “chair dancing” most of the movie. Enjoy!
I’m finishing it up tonight (takes me days to watch a single movie), and it’s been so good! You sound like me, when I was dancing and singing along to every T-Swift song at the Eras Tour film in the theater! 🤣
