Pistachio

It’s another one of those nights where I’m not starting on this until very late, at almost 10pm, because I’ve been a busy little worker bee! But the girls were super cute in new matching dresses this morning.

And since I was actually running early after drop-off, and I had forgotten any breakfast today, I treated myself to an iced chai latte and pistachio muffin from Red Eye. Both were very good decisions, and a great way to start a Friday.

I just love how bright green the pistachio muffin is.

Then I had a great, delicious special lunch today too, when I met Mama and Megan at Surchero’s for burritos. We had great talks and good laughs, and lots of things to chat about.

Lots of cute pics of Addie Pie playing with her friends at school today.

After work and school, Jeff went back to finish up the job he started last night, and Nana came over to our house. She picked up pizza from Uncle Maddio’s on the way, and we ate dinner before we started working. She helped me do all the last-minute things around the house, and then helped get the girls down for bed. Funnily enough, I actually mixed up some pistachio pudding for tomorrow too. Kind of a random unplanned theme for the day, but I do love pistachio stuff. There’s even pistachio macaron’s in that giant container for tomorrow!

After they were asleep, she put together a breakfast casserole, and I washed a ton of dishes, then rinsed out all the tea pots and tea cups and fancy dishes and platters. And then we set the table together for tomorrow’s Galentine’s Tea Party!

Jeff came home earlier after Emerson had fallen asleep on the couch, but before Addison was completely out, so he rocked her a little longer while we were working in the kitchen. I’m of course exhausted after all that, and tomorrow’s gonna be a big day!
