Piggy Mac

Since today was Earth Day, it was also “wear green” day at school. I picked out a cute outfit for Emmie, but after she got dressed, she said the shorts were too small/tight, so she changed and picked out those pants herself. So, green shirt was good, but we had some mismatch pants there. 😉 And Jeff picked out Addie’s “green,” which was more teal/green, but it still worked I guess! Either way, they’re so cute no matter what.

So even though I brought my lunch to work today as usual, and so did my friend Heather, we were craving gyros and made plans to go to Yasou, in mourning/honor of Kosta’s unexpected early closure yesterday. But then there was a new food truck at the office, Cowgirl Chuckwagon, and our coworkers came back up with this “Piggy Mac” (pulled pork on mac & cheese), and it smelled SO GOOD, that we changed plans and went downstairs to get the exact same thing. And it was sooo good. And that giant dill pickle on the side was really good too.

The girls both had a good day at school today, and they both did some green Earth Day painting!

Oh and today was “blue” show & tell, but we forgot, so we found these things in the car on the way to school this morning 😉

Then after I picked up the girls from school this afternoon, we picked up Jeff from the house, and went over to Generations Church for a fiesta night, with free tacos and free ice cream.

(We picked up another little girl, one of their friends from school & church. She’s in the triplets’ class, and her big brother is one of Emmie’s friends from her class.)

Addie Pie went to town on her deconstructed taco and ate every bit of everything we gave her.

Kensley was going back and forth from her own ice cream, to needing bites of Papa’s tacos.

And of course we had to give Addie some ice cream too!

After the fiesta night at the church, the four biggest girls went home with Grammy & Papa for a little sleepover. It’s their first cousin sleepover, so hopefully it goes well for everyone, and everyone is able to sleep! Jeff has been taking care of feeding and rocking Addison while I’ve been writing this. She’s probably asleep already by now, and so hopefully we have a nice chill night ahead of us now, without Emerson’s typical bedtime nonsense around here
