Pig Tails & Open Windows

We loved seeing our triplets again this morning! All the “big” girls were singing to Addison again today too. They just all love each other so much!

Got a cute picture of each of the girls from school…

Came home this afternoon to an unexpected package today, that I had no idea where it came from! I searched back through my email though to see if I had won a Goodreads giveaway and maybe forgotten about… I didn’t find that, but I did find an email from a publisher saying they were giving away 50 copies to randomly selected people, for just filling out a simple Google Docs application, back in November. So this was exciting, because it was a forgotten surprise!

The book doesn’t come out until May, so this is an “ARC” (Advanced Reader’s Copy), and I get an “exclusive” read, months before it actually comes out! Super excited about this. Coincidentally, I just finished my first book of 2022 today (an audiobook actually), so getting this one in the mail today keeps up my motivation to keep reading.

Jeff popped a frozen baked ziti in the air fryer/oven around the time I picked up the girls, and it was ready when we got home. I just made some garlic toast from regular bread, and a couple of side salads, and dinner was ready! The weather was also really nice, felt more like spring or fall, so Jeff had opened up all the windows & back screen door, and it felt great.

Miss Jessica did Emmie’s little pig tails late this afternoon, and I absolutely loved them. Especially the one on her right, which was super curly!

We got the girls in the bath tub together after dinner, let them both play and splash around a lot, before getting them out and getting them in jammies and ready for bed. Jeff fed Addison a bottle, and Emmie had some BabyBel cheese and OJ for her pre-bedtime snack…

We kissed baby sissy goodnight…

And then she needed a GoGurt for her bedtime snack…

Addison was exhausted tonight, and went to sleep and to bed really easily. Emerson also did really well with bedtime, and both girls are now sleeping soundly. Jeff is washing the dishes for me again tonight, and we’ve got a load of laundry going. We’ll rest a little bit and watch some tv, and then head off to bed soon.
