Parmigiana & Tiramisu

After a rough evening last night, and a slightly traumatic ear-drops-situation again this morning, Addie was back to her sweet, happy self, and ready to get back to school.

And Emmie wore her cute little pink bandana back to camp again today.

I had leftover breakfast casserole for my lunch today, with fresh green onion & lots of fruits for my sides.

Then after work, Nana picked up Addie, and I picked up Emmie, and Jeff and Dave met up with all of us, for a special birthday dinner for Nana at Little Italy! (My favorite chicken parm in town is from Riccardo’s, but this was still pretty good.) The girls both tore up their alfredo, and ate some of Nana’s too 🤣 I didn’t finish my whole meal though, and neither did the girls, so we still brought some home, plus the cheese sticks and table bread.

It had been a while since I had tiramisu, so I’m glad I found a little bit of room left for some dessert.

Had to throw some quarters in the fountain on our way out. It was such a nice little treat to go out to a nice dinner on a “random” Tuesday night with family, and celebrate Nana!

Pennie snuggles and Bluey when we got home, and then some more traumatic ear drops. (The ear drops don’t hurt her, they’re just cold and she doesn’t like the sensation; we tried holding them in our hands for a while first to warm them up, but she’s already traumatized and it was still rough, even with warmed up drops.)

And that’s that for tonight. Keeping it short, so I have time to do my nails, since I haven’t done them for days and it’s driving me nuts having “naked nails” for three days in row!
