Emmie and I went to church at 8am today. I had worship team rehearsal, and she just wanted to go early with me, for no reason, other than she’s my Velcro child and loves to be with me always 🤣 So Jeff brought Addie when it was time for church to start, and we all had a great morning at church. We had the laziest, most low-key Black Friday, just spent at home all day. Jeff and Addie were up early today, and I got to sleep until about 8am. We had some breakfast, and then Emerson helped me get dinner started in the crock-pot.

I made some copy-cat Dunkin wake-up wraps for breakfast this morning, with eggs & sharp white cheddar cheese. I realized as I took my last bite that I actually had bacon in the fridge that I had totally forgotten about, sadly… but they were still very yummy.

Well, it’s been four days since I wrote a blog post, saying that Jeff and Emmie were both sick as of Friday night. I didn’t know it then, but it was out for me too… I woke up Saturday feeling good, feeling determined to be productive around the house, despite the sick family members. Emmie made this little “photo backdrop” and her and Addie pretended to take photos, so I had to get one of her here too.

Emmie was looking cute, cozy & sporty in a new jogger sweatsuit this morning. Addie just wanted to re-wear yesterday’s outfit again, and that was not a battle I wanted to fight, so even though there was a small water stain on her shirt, we just went with it!

A little false Florida winter showed up today, and it was 41 degrees first thing this morning! So obviously last night we laid out pants, long-sleeved shirts, jackets, boots & socks. The girls were warm and cozy and ready for the day!

We had another good morning with just us 3 girls, chaotic, but successful.
We were then excited and happy to get to daycare at the same time as the Walkers. There were many excited screams and cheers, and hugs all around for all 8 of us!
Addie actually went up to them and just said, “Hold me like a baby!” So they piicked her right up!
And those are the only pictures I took today! We had our usual busy Wednesday night schedule, followed by a late bedtime with a minor meltdown from Emmie actually. She’s been such a huge helper all week, but my poor girl was just way too overly tired tonight, and super sensitive. We worked through it though, and she is sweetly sleeping now. I’m laying down with Addie right now, hoping she gives up the right soon too.
Emerson picked out this new dress last night, so I picked out coordinating browns for fall for me and Addison today too. 🍁🍂🍄
