So every weekend, I pick out clothes for the upcoming week, and lay them out on her dresser. So even though this outfit was “scheduled” for Thursday in the line-up, she saw it this morning and just had to wear it, because she was so excited about her new tennis shoes!

This girl was so stinking cute this morning! She’s wearing a new-to-her pair of hand-me-down sandals (that she very astutely pointed out to me were rainbows), and a super cute hand-me-down denim skirt, which is almost too cute to even handle.

Jeff left the house super early this morning, to run the camera for the church livestream, so Emmie and I ate some donuts and introduced Emerson to “Finding Nemo.” She got a stuffed Dory key chain in her happy meal last night, and wanted to know all about her.

Emerson helped pick out her own outfit for school today, including her little flippy-flops and her floppy sun hat, which she was super excited to wear to school for water day! So I didn’t plan to go through all the boxes of clothes that my friend dropped off yesterday, until this coming weekend after, I finished reorganizing her dressers and packing away some of the stuff she had grown out of. But we peeked into one of the boxes, and this super soft Minnie Mouse dress was right on top, so of course Miss Priss insisted on wearing it to school today!
