Low-Key Friday Night

Emmie woke up earlier than she needed to, so her, Daddy & Pretzel watched some videos in bed while I got ready for work.

And at school drop-off, she was the happiest, cheesiest little nugget girl!

Found this photo this morning from Growing Room’s Facebook page, of our cute family last night. I love it!

Megan and I went to lunch at Cabo’s, and I got this crazy huge, smothered burrito thing. It was okay, but not great, and I definitely didn’t finish the whole thing. But it was great to be with my sister!

When we got home, we did a quick video call with Aunt Meggie and Uncle Bo, on their way to a Friday night date night.

Emerson fed Pretzel his dinner…

And then we had pizza for our dinner. Except Emmie didn’t want pizza, so she had cheese noodles. After she ate all of them and wanted more (which we didn’t have), she decided to try the cheese sticks, and realized they were good! I had one of those special T-Mobile deals for Pizza Hut, so we got a pizza, cheese sticks, and cinnamon sticks, all for only $8! Deal!

As we were finishing dinner, we did a video call with Grammy, Papa & Grandmommie, and Emerson got to wish Grandmommie a special happy birthday, since today is her 80th birthday!

We cuddled and watched some videos together for a tiny bit after dinner, and then I started falling asleep on the couch already, at like 7:40pm. So we got Emmie ready for bed, did our usual night-night routine, and finally got her in the crib. It was a super low-key Friday night, but it was exactly what I needed.

I’ve actually had a headache all afternoon and evening, which is why this post is kind of sparse… I took meds around 6:30, and now at 9pm, I just now feel like they’ve finally kicked in. So since my head hurts, and I was falling asleep earlier, I’m gonna call it an early night and turn in soon.
