Well, after a few days very under the weather, I’m finally back in the land of the living. Over the weekend, I had started to have that very faint feeling of getting sick, and then it hit me, and Addison too actually, like a mack truck in the middle of the night super late Monday night. Jeff and I both took the day off work today, so that we could have a day to take Ryan (and the girls obviously) on a beach trip while he’s here this week. We packed up all our usual stuff, and hit the road to our favorite spot, the state park on St. George Island!

Heat Advisory
I was back serving on the worship team again this morning, and Emerson wanted to come early with me. She was very excited to see a baby when we got there (who was also there with his parents on worship team), and she quickly took over “babysitting duties” and played with him for a while. In the car after church, she talked about him for about 10 minutes straight, telling me everything they did together 😉
