One-Pan Salmon Supper

Today was spring picture day for the girls, so they were dressed a little fancier than usual, and look just as adorable as always!

Jeff took this picture of Pretzel during the day today, looking so cute. And the muzzle on this old boy is starting to really show his age these days!

Today was the lunch with our work unit, and this months “picker” chose Mission BBQ, which turned out to be a great choice. It was really fast, and really yummy, and we were all stuffed when we left.

Both girls had a good day at school today, but Emerson said that Addison cried through most of their pictures, so we’ll have to wait a few weeks to see how those turned out. Poor thing is going through that stranger-danger-phase, so I’m sure that’s what happened with the photographer today too…

I picked up my two cutie-girls after work and school, and had a few minutes of play time with the littlest one before starting on dinner.

Last week, we loved the Aldi salmon so much, that I went back last weekend and bought the exact same thing again. I had planned to do the asparagus with rice, but one of my coworkers brought in these little new potatoes from her own backyard, so I grabbed some of those and decided to do those instead. I did everything on the sear pan in my Ninja air fryer, and it all came out perfectly. The salmon was actually even better (more moist and more tender) than last week! Loved this one-pan salmon supper!

Since dinner was so easy peasy, and there was very minimal clean-up from just the one pan, we had a good amount of time to just hang out and play together for a while after dinner.

We finally started getting the girls going on their bedtime routines, and these two sweetie pies just couldn’t stop loving and hugging each other. Addison already looks up to Emerson so much, and Emerson just adores Addison with her whole heart. I’m so glad I get to watch these little sweethearts grow up together!

Thankfully, both girls did well at bedtime tonight, and things went smoothly. Jeff volunteered to wash some more dishes for me tonight while I’m writing this post, so that we can both just sit down and chill together the rest of the night.
