Addie was too tired and grumpy for morning sister pics before leaving the house, but she was sweet and smiley by the time we made it to school!
She did have her shoes on the wrong feet though, which she did in the car on the way there, and wouldn’t let me fix for her.
And cute little Emmie-cille was precious with her messy pony tail, and her little hand-made anklet a friend from camp gave her.
Meg was craving ramen again, so her, Mom and I went back to Midtown Noodles Bar. Meg did in fact order the same ramen we shared a couple of weeks ago, mom got a few appetizers as her meal. And I tried the Katsu chicken curry & rice, which was my favorite thing I’ve had out of the four entrees I’ve tried there so far.
The three of us had so much to talk about too, and could have used another hour or two of chit-chat to cover everything. I just love our time together so much!
Today was a coworkers birthday, so our unit supervisor bought these incredible mini cheesecakes from Sam’s to celebrate today. And WOW. This was so decadent and delicious, and literally the first time something has ever been “too sweet” for me.
Cute little Addison having fun at school today.
PopPop took Emerson to her gymnastics class again today, and then afterwards, he dropped her off at my office around 4:30. So for the last 30 minutes of my work day, I had a cute little office buddy. She had plenty of snacks, and drew me a picture, and we made a couple visits to my friends’ offices to say hi.
Emmie and I picked up Addie Pie after work, and then the girls played in this tiny little strip of sand in the driveway, while Jeff grilled burgers for dinner outside. I just had to air fry some french fries, and dice up some strawberries, and then put it all together.
The girls had bath after dinner, and then it was already kinda late, so Jeff took care of getting Addie ready for bed (and she finished up her dinner plate), and Emmie and I cuddled in my bed watching our nightly TikTok videos. (She loves watching a few craft girls, and Roll for Sandwich, iykyk.)
Addie had a really rough night of sleep last night… After we put her down around 9pm, she woke up around 10:30, and then we couldn’t get her back down in her bed until 2am. So clearly, Jeff and I also had a rough night of sleep too. She only sleeps through the night a few times a week, but it’s not usually that bad… So tonight, it goes without saying we’re absolutely drained, and really hoping and praying tonight is better, so we can get a good nights’ sleep.
