Very cute munchkins on this Monday morning, both happy and smiley 🙂
And a beautiful morning sunrise. Look closely in the direct center, and you can see the bright orange sun cresting over the horizon. I always imagine that if I drove a couple more miles down the interstate, that I’d just be able to drive straight into the sunshine.
Half of my plants at my office are all budding fresh spring leaves, and it’s so exciting! I’ve created a few of things by propogating the leaves from the main plant, and I’m so proud they’re thriving and growing and doing so well!
We still had eggs, bread, & bacon leftover from last weeks groceries, so I made breakfast for dinner again tonight, without having to buy much new stuff. I also made little mini pot of decaf coffee to go with it, and viola, easy dinner!
I saw something the other day about how to prune your Christmas cactus, and even though I’ve had this little plant for a few years now, I’ve never pruned it. So I told Emerson I had a fun plant chore for her to help with, and talked her through what to do. So now we’ll see if it starts sprouting off new shoots soon.
Addie was brushing Pennie’s fur with Addie’s tiny little hair comb, and Pennie was so sweet just standing there letting her do it.
While we were sitting on the couch watching Bluey, the curtains were slightly open, so I told the girls we should get up and go outside to see the sky. It looked like such a beautiful lavender-pink color, especially against the super hot pink azalea’s in the backyard.
Addison asked for “a bowl of Cheeze-it’s” to eat during our bedtime book reading. So she had her snack, while I read a Pinocchio book, and then both girls fell asleep quickly.
Think I’m going to go set up my phone to watch an episode of Survivor while washing dishes now, and then try to read a little bit before bedtime.
