Today was my 35th birthday! We started the day with an amazing service at church, followed by a yummy lunch at Panera. This is the new dress my Mama gave me for my birthday, and I love it so much!
And since it was my birthday, I got to pick out a free pastry, so we all shared this chocolate croissant as our appetizer while we waited on the food.
After lunch, we headed home and put on some soft, cozy clothes, and got settled down for nap time. I rocked Addison, while Jeff and Emmie fell asleep, then I laid down and napped on the couch. My nap was about 2 hours, but after 3 hours, I had to wake up all three of them at 4:45pm! Then we went over to Jeff’s parents’ house for a little birthday dinner celebration for me.
Look at my adorable new coffee mug! Can’t wait to take coffee to work in this tomorrow morning.
This tuxedo salted caramel chocolate cake thing was amazing and so delicious. So glad we got to bring some of the leftovers home 😉
Nana sent us home with leftovers from dinner for us to have for lunch tomorrow, and even a loaf of banana bread (which I’ll probably take to my office to share). So we loaded up in the sprinkling rain, and headed home to get ready for bed. It was late by the time we got them both down, but they both went to sleep easily. We need to do a couple things to get ready for the new week, and then settle down and wind down for our bedtime too.
